Marek started kindergarten this year! He is in the half day afternoon class. Almost all schools around here go full day, so it is nice that at our school we still have a choice. Even better there are only 12 kids in his class! Most parents choose full day, so we lucked out this year!
He was SO excited to start school. He and Talia talked about it all morning long, about him riding the bus, his teachers name ect. We got out to the bus stop early (the stop is right at our house) and the wait was almost unbearable! When the time came he hopped on the bus and was off. He even forgot to give mom a hug! :( Talia was pretty stunned by the whole thing. Well the pictures say it all.

As soon as the bus doors shut and it drove away Talia burst into tears. She really started wailing and calling out Marek's name. She was devastated that he left. For a good hour after he left she kept saying she wanted Marek to come back to her - she missed him! I felt bad for her, but since she would be sleeping most of the time he was gone that helped. After the first few days she finally stopped crying when he left. But she still says that she wants him back to play with her. So cute!
how sad is that face? poor Talia... but she only has two more years before she can get on the bus.
