So here it is almost the end of November and I am still trying to post what happened in October! It doesn't take long to make 1 post, so I really need to stay on top of this. I still wanted to post our October stuff since we had lots of fun. So here's to catching up!
Every Year since we have lived in Mukwonago we have held a pumpkin carving party- AKA Pumpkin Bash. We set up make shift tables in our garage and invite all our neighbors and some friends from church. It has been a nice way to get to know our neighbors and socialize with them a bit, and all the kids have fun carving their pumpkin. We have had a couple families move since we started it, so we have less kids coming, but we still have fun. The kids start talking about it in early September! We have learned over the years to keep the food in the garage along with the hot chocolate so people will actually eat it and so that the drinks don't get spilled inside. Here are a few of the pics from our last one in October.
The kids have gotten pretty good at digging out the "guts" of their pumpkins.
