It is hard to believe that Marek is 5! It was a Thomas the Train birthday for him. His favorite gift was the Thomas pajamas. He was so excited to get them and mom has to sneak them into the wash, he can't go a night without them. He also received more tracks and trains for his Thomas toys along with some books.

In our family (and other Nettesheim families) you are not supposed to talk while eating your 1st piece of your birthday cake. We don't start this until you are 5... due to the consequences of speaking. If you talk or say a word you have to eat the rest of your cake under the kitchen table. Marek did a GREAT job and didn't say a word - despite having all his siblings ask him all manner of questions and do everything they could to trick him into talking. Good job Marek!!
